The Handmade Textile Association is a part of the umbrella organisation the Cambodian Craft Cooperation. It is aiming towards social and economic empowerment of Cambodian rural population in general and female silk weavers in particular. We are grateful for your kind support. Please find below information on terms and conditions for ordering and shipping.

1 Handmade products
As all of our products are hand-made, small variations in composition, shape, texture and colour should be expected. These variances are inherent to our products and make each piece unique and add to its artistic value and style. These features are not to be considered as quality defects.

2 Price changes
All prices quoted on our website are cif prices including DHL parcel door-to-door delivery, based on a minimum order quantity of 10 items per product code and a total minimum order value of 400 US$.

3 Shipping rules
You will get an order confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. The standard delivery time for an order of 30-400 pieces is 4-6 weeks. For larger orders, please contact us for a quotation. Delivery date may vary according to stock availability, product characteristics, customs or factors caused by a third party. The Cambodian Craft Cooperation cannot be held responsible for any delay or damage caused by or related to a third party such as freight forwarders, customs etc. Air shipment by DHL parcel door-to-door delivery takes about 7 to 10 days. Should you wish us to dispatch your order through another parcel service or freight forwarding company, please contact us.

Standard packaging is free of charge.

4 Orders of 400 pieces and more
If you would like to order more than 400 pieces, Please contact us by mail to info@silkfromcambodia.com for an individual quotation. Larger orders are subject to price reductions and will be pleased to offer you different options for reducing shipment costs.

5 Customers
The customer may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer; as the CCC have no control over these charges and cannot predict what these might be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.

6 Cancellation
Unfortunately, orders cannot be cancelled once the payment process has been completed. Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, once the checkout process is completed we will ship the order to you. Cambodian Craft Cooperation is committed to delivering products in a timely manner. In the process of importing hand-made products, there are numerous factors beyond the control of the Cambodian Craft Cooperation, which can cause delay, sometimes in excess of 90 days. Any unforeseen delays may not be used by the customer as a reason to cancel an order. Cambodian Craft Cooperation cannot be held responsible for any consequence resulting from delay in delivery of this order.

7 Partial deliveries
The customer agrees to accept partial delivery of an order in the case that Cambodian Craft Cooperation cannot provide all products ordered. We are thank you for your understanding.

8 Insurance
The shipment will be covered by a DHL transport insurance package.

9 Damaged or defective items - Return
Great care and effort is taken by Cambodian Craft Cooperation to deliver damage - and defect - free products. Occasionally products may however still become damaged in transport or arrive with defects, in which case a replacement can only be obtained if you have subscribed to the insurance. It is your responsibility to report any damage or defect within 15 (fifteen) business days of receipt of order by (855) 23 –986239 or by e-mail: info@cambodian-craft.com. It is also your responsibility to send a picture. Defective items can be replaced after verification by Cambodian Craft Cooperation.
